About the Role:
The Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and safety of facility infrastructure by performing routine and emergency maintenance tasks at the Grand Rapids Housing Commission (GRHC). This position requires a hands-on approach to diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining mechanical, electrical, and structural systems within GRHC facilities. The technician will be responsible for identifying potential issues before they escalate, thereby minimizing downtime and maintaining a safe environment for all occupants. Collaboration with other team members and departments is essential to prioritize maintenance requests and complete projects efficiently.
