MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
SUMMARY
As a Maintenance Technician, you will primarily be responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production, facility and office equipment and systems. This position requires a highly motivated, self-directed multi crafted worker that can work autonomously in a fast-paced production environment. The right person for the job must be focused on teamwork, task completion, and will be successful in their role as they develop and maintain positive internal customer relationships.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair, install and maintain electrical equipment
· Apply skill and experience to varying voltages including 480, 240 and transformed 24v power
· Proven experience providing maintenance on PLC hardware/software, electrical panel and drive components, A/C and D/C motors, gear trains, shafts/journals, pulleys, bushings and bearings
· Read prints, diagrams, schematic, and service manuals to determine work procedures
· Performs preventive maintenance (PM) on sheet metal forming and machining related equipment per OEM specifications/manuals up to and including routine work performed on belts, fluid levels, filters, greasing bearing/seals and calibration
· Minor plumbing (fixing leaks in sinks and toilets)
· Competence in commercial HVAC systems
· Responds to emergency maintenance requests with a willingness to respond to off-shift and weekend facility/equipment repairs

· Daily safety conscious work effort. Notify management of any product discrepancies or equipment malfunctions, and or personal injuries
· Well versed and formally trained in OSHA compliance requirements in relationship to maintenance and facilities tasks. Proven ability to apply OSHA standards to daily tasks
· Participate in all continuous improvement programs by offering suggestions and initiatives in areas within direct control
· Comply with state and federal law safety regulations in addition to health, safety and security procedures.
· Adhere to company policies and state and federal laws and regulations relating to employment, including promoting a workplace free of discrimination and harassment
· Be responsible to maintain a clean and orderly work area
