Teach a curriculum including Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Environmental Sciences. Develop students' practices in questioning, modeling, constructing explanations, data analysis, argumentation, and conducting interactive labs. Create an environment for scientific discourse. Facilitate student-led discourse using evidence for claims and critiques. Facilitate student-led inquiry and lab/project-based performance tasks. Work with the Science department on academic and engagement goals. Meet weekly with principal/coach to analyze student work. Differentiate instruction. Build positive relationships with students and families. Engage in professional development, mentorship, and coaching. Participate in school-wide meetings. Partner with grade level team.
