Teach a curriculum including Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Environmental Sciences; Develop students’ practices skills of questioning, modeling, constructing explanations, data analysis, argumentation, and planning/conducting labs; Create an environment where students feel confident using their voice in scientific discourse; Facilitate student-led discourse using evidence to make claims and critique arguments; Facilitate student-led inquiry and engage students in lab and project-based performance tasks; Work with the Science department to determine academic and engagement goals; Meet weekly with principal/coach to analyze student work; Differentiate instruction; Build positive relationships with students; Partner with students' families; Engage in professional development; Participate in school-wide meetings; Partner with grade level team.
