We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst (IT): III (Senior) to join our team located in Columbus, Ohio. The role involves working closely with various business units to align technology solutions with business strategies. As a Business Systems Analyst, you will be required to provide advanced technical and consultative support to other team members, maintain a deep understanding of applications, and keep abreast of the latest enhancements methodologies and trends in the IT industry.
Responsibilities:
• Build relationships with business partners who utilize ServiceNow, aiming to understand their needs, uphold platform design standards and governance, and facilitate effective communication between business and technical users.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of complex business processes and functional behaviors of assigned applications, including potential design and integration of technical solutions.
• Work closely with key stakeholders to capture business and user requirements, and establish and strengthen the relationship between teams.
• Take ownership of the relationship with stakeholders to identify, model, and document business processes and data requirements.
• Collaborate with Scrum and Production Support teams to ensure all documented requirements are understood, developed, tested, and delivered to specification.
• Facilitate scope discovery and design sessions, and communicate with business partners on story status and follow-up.
• Align IT resources and processes to meet the client organization’s needs and assist in the design of enterprise solutions.
• Build roadmaps with business partners and execute stories within sprint timelines.
• Continuously seek technical or procedural improvements that will provide operational efficiencies, reduce potential risk, and improve end user experiences.• Must have a strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Proven experience in documenting business procedures and specifications
• Prior experience in supervising teams or projects
• Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum and other Agile methodologies
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Demonstrated ability to work with stakeholders and partners at various organizational levels
• Ability to execute tasks and deliverables within specified timelines
• Experience with business process functions and business units
• Proficiency in UX and discovery processes
• Workstation support experience
• Experience in ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple competing priorities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to multitask
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience
• Experience in a senior role, leading and managing large projects and teams.
