We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst (IT): III (Senior) based in Columbus, Ohio. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity and involves working closely with business partners within multiple units to align technology solutions with business strategies. The position requires advanced technical and consultative support provision to other team members and in-depth knowledge of applications.
Responsibilities:
• Develop comprehensive understanding of complex business processes and functional behaviors of assigned applications.
• Build relationships with business partners leveraging ServiceNow, understanding their needs, advocating on their behalf, maintaining platform design standards and governance, and effectively communicating between business and technical users.
• Analyze existing systems or procedures and identify technical or procedural improvements that will enhance operational efficiencies and improve end user experiences.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to capture business and user requirements and strengthen the relationship between teams.
• Serve as the liaison with stakeholders to identify, model, and document business processes and data requirements.
• Partner with Scrum and Production Support teams to ensure all documented requirements are understood, developed, tested, and delivered to specification.
• Facilitate scope discovery and design sessions and communicate with business partners on story status and follow-up.
• Align IT resources and processes to meet the client organization’s needs and the design of enterprise solutions.
• Build roadmaps with business partners and execute stories within sprint timelines.• Proficient in Microsoft Suite including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise and guide a team.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and partners.
• Experience in Agile Scrum methodology and Agile execution.
• Ability to deliver work within specified timelines.
• Strong knowledge of business process functions.
• Proficiency in workstation support.
• Experience in UX and discovery processes.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain documentation and procedures for compliance.
• Proficient in executing tasks and delivering specified deliverables.
• Knowledge of business unit specifications and methodology.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholders.
• Experience in Agile methodologies and proficiency in Agile execution.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
