Position: Infusion Pharmacist
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 13-weeks (Contract to Hire)
Shift: Mon - Fri working 8-hour shifts within the hours of 8a-7:30p, rotating "on call" weekends

Duties:

• Infusion pharmacy working strictly with acute conditions, preparing sterile pounds for mainly (IVs/Hydration, TPNs, Antibiotics).
• Oversees the efficient dispensing, processing, and recording of prescriptions issued by physicians, dentists, and/or other authorized healthcare providers.

• municate with providers to influence optimal drug therapy in accordance with approved protocols and current practice.

• Monitors patients drug therapy and provides drug information to patients and healthcare providers.

• Oversees and directs pharmacy technical staff in the execution of technical functions.

Experience:

• Holds an AZ pharmacist license
• Strong clinical and munication skills to work with patients and providers.
• Software: CareTend experience preferred but not required
• 1+ years of infusion pharmacy experience required
