We are seeking a highly skilled Infusion/Clinical Pharmacist to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. This contract-to-hire position is ideal for a pharmacist with strong clinical skills and hands-on experience in an infusion pharmacy setting. You will be responsible for preparing sterile pounds, overseeing medication dispensing, and providing consultation to both patients and healthcare providers. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on acute care conditions, with potential for long-term placement.

Start Date: ASAP
End Date: 13 weeks (Contract to Hire)
Shift: Monday - Friday, 8-hour shifts between 8:00 AM - 7:30 PM, with rotating "on call" weekends

Responsibilities:

• Prepare sterile pounds including IVs, TPNs, and antibiotics for acute conditions.
• Oversee medication dispensing, processing, and patient therapy monitoring.
• Provide drug information and pharmacokinetic dosing advice to patients and healthcare providers.
• Direct pharmacy technicians in daily operations.
• Ensure pliance with legal, state, and federal regulations.

Requirements:

• PharmD required.
• AZ pharmacist license in good standing.
• 1-2 years of experience in an infusion pharmacy setting.
• Strong clinical and munication skills.
• Hands-on IV pounding experience (2-3 years) preferred, especially from a hospital setting.
