We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Health Assistant to join our team in the non-profit sector based in Los Angeles, California. In this role, you will be implementing health screenings and assessments, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines, and providing necessary health and nutrition services.
Responsibilities:
• Implement health screenings and assessments for children in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
• Ensure that health and nutrition services are provided effectively and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of all health screenings and assessments conducted.
• Utilize management systems to monitor and update customer accounts.
• Provide timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries using CRM.
• Utilize computer programs for data entry tasks and maintaining customer records.
• Inform families about the outcomes of health screenings and any necessary follow-up actions.
• Use ADP - Financial Services for processing customer applications.
• Leverage About Time software for efficient time management and task scheduling.
• Perform billing functions and benefit functions as required.• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services
• Experience with Avaya CMS
• Strong knowledge of various Computer Programs
• Familiarity with CRM and Management System
• Ability to use About Time software
• Understanding of Benefit and Billing Functions
• Excellent Customer Service skills
• Proficiency in Data Entry and Computer Data Entry
• Previous experience in a non-profit organization is preferred
• Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Must be a team player with a positive attitude
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a non-profit environment is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
