We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Health Assistant in the non-profit industry, based in the location of Los Angeles, California. The Health Assistant will be engaged in our Head Start Program, contributing to health and nutrition services in compliance with State and Federal guidelines. The role involves conducting health screenings and assessments for children participating in the Head Start Program, as well as communicating effectively with families regarding the results of these health screenings.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure provision of health and nutrition services in alignment with State and Federal guidelines
• Implement health screenings and assessments for children involved in the Head Start Program
• Inform families about the results of health screenings and any necessary follow-up actions
• Utilize ADP - Financial Services, Avaya CMS, and CRM for managing customer records and inquiries
• Operate computer programs and management systems to maintain accurate customer records
• Utilize 'About Time' and 'Benefit Functions' to monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action
• Employ Billing Functions and Customer Service skills to resolve customer inquiries
• Conduct data entry tasks to process customer applications accurately and efficiently
• Use Computer Data Entry skills to maintain accurate customer credit records.• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services
• Experience with Avaya CMS
• Proficiency in various Computer Programs
• Familiarity with CRM systems
• Understanding of Management System processes
• Experience with About Time software
• Knowledge of Benefit Functions
• Familiarity with Billing Functions
