Hiring Fully Remote Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Washington School District for 24/25 School Year

Essential Functions:

• Administer standardized tests, observations, and informal assessments to identify students with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
• Write and implement IEPs dependent on student's needs.
• Caseload management while adhering to federal, state, and local regulations.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education personnel, and other school staff to support students' communication needs within the classroom.
• Keep up with current research, best practices, and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology.

Requirements:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Currently holds a WA Speech Language Pathology License (CCCs)
• Active Washington teaching certificationpreferred
• Fingerprints completed through OSPI
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with students with communication disorders in a school setting
• Experience providing virtual therapy services
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable computer and high-speed internet (no Chromebooks/tablets permitted)
• Experience with Augmented & Alternative communication (AAC) devices is a plus!

Compensation and Benefits:

• Employment Type: 1099 Contract Position
• Guaranteed Weekly Hours (PT/FT)
• Competitive Pay: $38-$45/hr depending on district budget and candidate experience
