Essential Functions:
- Administer standardized tests, observations, and informal assessments to identify students with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
- Write and implement IEPs dependent on student's needs.
- Caseload management while adhering to federal, state, and local regulations.
- Collaborate with teachers, special education personnel, and other school staff to support students' communication needs within the classroom.
- Keep up with current research, best practices, and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Currently holds a WA Speech Language Pathology License (CCCs)
- Active Washington teaching certificationpreferred
- Fingerprints completed through OSPI
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with students with communication disorders in a school setting
- Experience providing virtual therapy services
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable computer and high-speed internet (no Chromebooks/tablets permitted)
- Experience with Augmented & Alternative communication (AAC) devices is a plus!
Compensation and Benefits:
- Employment Type: 1099 Contract Position
- Guaranteed Weekly Hours (PT/FT)
- Competitive Pay: $38-$45/hr depending on district budget and candidate experience
