Hiring Fully Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in South Carolina School District for 24/25 School Year

VocoVision is looking for a committed and skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team as an independent contractor, delivering virtual services to school districts across Washington. In this role, you will enjoy the flexibility of working from home while providing essential speech and language support to K-12 students, making a meaningful difference in their educational journey.

Essential Functions:

• Administer standardized tests, observations, and informal assessments to identify students with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
• Write and implement IEPs dependent on student's needs.
• Caseload management while adhering to federal, state, and local regulations.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education personnel, and other school staff to support students' communication needs within the classroom.
• Keep up with current research, best practices, and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology.

Requirements:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Currently holds a SC Speech Language Pathology License (CCCs)
• Active South Carolina teaching certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with students with communication disorders in a school setting
• Experience providing virtual therapy services
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable computer and high-speed internet (no Chromebooks/tablets permitted)
• Experience with Augmented & Alternative communication (AAC) devices is a plus!

Compensation and Benefits:

• Employment Type: 1099 Contract Position
• Guaranteed Weekly Hours (PT/FT)
• Competitive Pay: $38-$50/hr depending on district budget and candidate experience
