Job Description
This position is on the 2nd Shift (3:20pm-10:20pm) at a rate of $24/hr plus a $1.35 premium, totaling $25.35/hr. The typical work week is about 50 hours, usually from Monday to Friday, with potential for Saturday overtime.
- This is a TIG Welding position where you will be welding Stainless Steel and Carbon Steel seats for various industries.
- You will be standing and welding, not sitting. You will perform welds on T joints, 1 to 2 inches long, including Fillet, Flat Group, and Horizontal welds.
- There will also be minimal Short Arc transfer and MIG welding involved.
- Day to Day: Retrieve work order kit and follow blueprint directions to TIG and MIG weld seats together in your own weld booth. You will use a welding machine for both MIG and TIG. 65% of your day will be spent on TIG welding.

Work Environment
This is a permanent position.
This is a fully on-site position in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
The facility is an older building with a weld shop environment, which can be dirty.
Each welder has their own welding cell, but they are close to each other.
The environment is loud due to music, grinding, and other metal work.
