Robert Half is looking for a strong Senior Financial Analyst with a focus on sales cycle is responsible for assisting in strategic decision-making relating to financial stability, profitability, and sustainable growth. The role primarily focuses on analyzing sales data, trends, and operational variables to provide valuable insights that shape the business's strategic direction and support its sales cycle.
Job Responsibilities:
- Managing and analyzing sales data and trends to develop forecasts.
- Developing and managing financial models to evaluate sales performance.
- Delivering performance metrics and predictive models to support financial planning and decision-making regarding the sales cycle.
- Assisting in pricing strategies and discounts analysis.
- Working closely with the sales team to identify and implement financial strategies that optimize sales results.
- Providing key financial input to the sales proposal process including cost and price analysis and ensuring that the business maximizes profits.
- Analyzing and interpreting complex data to identify trends, issues, or opportunities for improvement in the sales cycle.
- Identifying insights and making recommendations that influence business decisions and drive operational effectiveness and efficiency.
- Preparing, reviewing, and distributing regular sales reports.
- Participating in ongoing education to stay abreast of industry and technological changes that could impact the company.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Financial Analyst with substantial experience relating to the sales cycle.
- Strong expertise and experience on financial forecasting, costing, and budgeting.
- Knowledge of financial databases and software.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and strategic thinking skills.
- Strong presentation and reporting skills with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, and in other financial software systems.
- Ability to handle large amounts of data, interpret financial records, and make recommendations based on findings.
