We are seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst for a long-term contract role in Pittsburgh, PA. This role involves working in the financial industry, focusing on the restructuring of three business units and their respective P& Ls. The chosen candidate will work on-site and will be expected to utilize their skills in MS Excel and Tableau.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed financial analysis and modeling to support the division of the business units.

• Collaborate with external parties such as consulting firms to design IT structures.

• Attend and contribute to meetings, ensuring key deliverables and dates are consolidated and communicated effectively.

• Manage multiple work streams within the finance department.

• Develop project plans and keep track of progress to ensure the team stays organized and on track.

• Analyze and forecast potential costs and risks associated with divestitures.

• Ensure the alignment of various data sets between different systems using data analytics tools like Tableau.

• Work with other team members to identify and capture potential synergies resulting from the division of business units.

• Participate in the decision-making process, modeling financials based on key assumptions.

• Assess and plan cost distribution strategies for the company's extensive range of products and services.

• Proficiency in MS Excel is mandatory for this role.
• Candidate must possess expertise in handling Divestitures.
• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
• Experience in a similar role as a Financial Analyst is essential.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret and evaluate financial data.
• Excellent communication skills to present financial information effectively.
