Soliant is seeking a dedicated and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team of passionate professionals. As a BCBA in our school, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing behavior intervention plans, providing support to students with special needs, and collaborating with teachers and staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop behavior intervention plans for students with diverse needs.
- Design and implement individualized behavior support strategies to address challenging behaviors and promote positive behavior changes.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other school staff to ensure consistency and continuity in behavior management across all settings.
- Provide training and support to teachers and staff on evidence-based behavior management techniques.
- Monitor and analyze data on student progress to make data-driven decisions and modify intervention plans as needed.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions for parents and caregivers to support the extension of behavior strategies at home.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute expertise in the development of appropriate academic and behavioral goals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records related to student assessments, progress, and interventions.
Requirements:
- Possess a valid and current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
- Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or related field.
- Previous experience working as a BCBA in a school or educational setting preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement behavior intervention plans effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and munication skills to collaborate with staff, parents, and other stakeholders.
- Knowledge of various assessment tools and data collection methods used in ABA therapy.
- Familiarity with special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Ability to adapt and respond to the unique needs of individual students.
