Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
- Receiving and handling animals with skill and compassion including: monitoring during anesthesia, catheter placement, administering fluids, drawing blood, assisting doctors in surgery/exam rooms and specialized nursing care.
- Must accurately dispense and administer medications, perform laboratory tests, input data into computer. Knowledge of Impromed a plus.
- Must work well with all team members and ensure that your actions support the hospital, doctors, and the practice philosophy.
- Willingness to learn new skills and to work together with team mates to provide top notch care is a must.
