Experienced Veterinary Technicians, not certified: $17-$22/hour
Certified Veterinary Technicians $18-$25/hour
Job Type
Full-time: 36 hours/week
Part-time: <32 hours/week
Essential Functions:
- Animal handling and restraint
- Gather histories, vital signs, and weights
- Maintain appropriate medical records
- Obtain diagnostic radiographs
- Collect and prepare diagnostic samples
- Anesthesia Monitoring
- Assist in surgery as directed by the veterinarian
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the facility
- Compassionate Client communication and education
Requirements/Qualifications
- Previous veterinary medicine experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified Veterinary Technician License preferred
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and above with assistance
