AAC is seeking a JIRA Administrator for a client of ours in Washington, DC. This position is fully remote.

** Will require the ability to obtain a government clearance **

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3-5 years of experience with JIRA/Atlassian suite working with workflows, schemes, permissions, etc.
• Linux administration background
• Experience with JIRA in AWS environment a plus
• Bachelor's degree in related field
• Experience with administering and developing software team solutions on Atlassian tools especially JIRA and Confluence
• Advanced understanding of JIRA workflows, permission schemes, notification schemes, screens schemes, etc.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment
• Experience designing content management and data taxonomies
• Experience setting and managing user permissions

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage user permissions for tools according to the needs of projects and teams
• Test new versions of the tools and plug-ins to ensure compatibility
• Maintain JIRA projects, workflows, permissions, and users while working in latest JIRA environment
• Configure and maintain multiple JIRA projects, workflows, schemes, settings, users and reports
• Document standards, guidelines and standard operating procedures for admins/users of the system
• Collaborate with Scrum teams to define requirements, design solutions, and test implementations
• Work with JIRA filters, reporting, dashboards, workflows, fields, and JIRA administration
• Improve JIRA security. Set access permissions for JIRA projects and Confluence spaces
• Ability to construct custom dashboards using various filter types in JIRA
• Provide training to technical and non-technical teams to use Atlassian tools
• In-depth knowledge and experience with day-to-day JIRA administration functionality
• Ad-Hoc report creation and distribution
