Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable Specialist with at least 3 years of experience to handle our accounts payable functions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of dedicated work history and possess strong skills in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks. This role is crucial for ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and maintaining positive vendor relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and manage accounts payable transactions, including verifying, coding, and entering invoices.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
- Prepare and process payments, including checks and electronic transfers.
- Maintain accurate records and files for all accounts payable transactions.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to address inquiries and resolve payment issues.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel to generate reports and analyze data related to accounts payable.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or a related accounting role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and manage spreadsheets and reports.
- Experience with QuickBooks for accounts payable functions.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing transactions.
- Demonstrated dedication and stability in previous work history.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
