Position Highlights:

• Type: Part-Time
• Schedule: 1.5-2 hours per week

• Caseload: 2 students ok IEPs

Role Overview:
As a Physical Therapist with ProCare Therapy, youll be at the heart of student development, delivering essential therapy services within a vibrant school environment. Youll play a key role in assessing, treating, and guiding students to achieve their physical potential, all while collaborating with a dynamic team of educators and parents.
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert physical therapy services tailored to a school setting.
• Evaluate and assess students physical abilities and limitations to craft effective treatment plans.
• Develop and implement personalized therapy plans to address each students unique needs and goals.
• Partner with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate therapy objectives seamlessly into the students educational plans.
• Conduct engaging therapy sessions aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and coordination.
• Track and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure continuous improvement.
• Offer advice and support to school staff and parents on strategies to boost students physical development and independence.
• Join multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and coordinate comprehensive care.
• Stay abreast of the latest advances and best practices in pediatric physical therapy.
• Adhere to professional and ethical standards as outlined by state regulations and school policies.

Qualifications:

• Masters Degree in Physical Therapy required.
• Previous experience in school or pediatric settings is highly valued.
• Valid PT license and teaching certifications for Massachusetts are required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential.
• Ability to work effectively with teachers, parents, and team members.
• A commitment to fostering student growth and well-being.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Employment Type: W-2 Contract
• Hourly Rate: $50-67
