Role Overview:
As a Physical Therapist with ProCare Therapy, youll be at the heart of student development, delivering essential therapy services within a vibrant school environment. Youll play a key role in assessing, treating, and guiding students to achieve their physical potential, all while collaborating with a dynamic team of educators and parents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert physical therapy services tailored to a school setting.
- Evaluate and assess students physical abilities and limitations to craft effective treatment plans.
- Develop and implement personalized therapy plans to address each students unique needs and goals.
- Partner with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate therapy objectives seamlessly into the students educational plans.
- Conduct engaging therapy sessions aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and coordination.
- Track and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure continuous improvement.
- Offer advice and support to school staff and parents on strategies to boost students physical development and independence.
- Join multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and coordinate comprehensive care.
- Stay abreast of the latest advances and best practices in pediatric physical therapy.
- Adhere to professional and ethical standards as outlined by state regulations and school policies.
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Physical Therapy required.
- Previous experience in school or pediatric settings is highly valued.
- Valid PT license and teaching certifications for Massachusetts are required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential.
- Ability to work effectively with teachers, parents, and team members.
- A commitment to fostering student growth and well-being.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Employment Type: W-2 Contract
- Hourly Rate: $50-67
