This role will be vital in our financial department, dealing with cost accounting, cost analysis, inventory accounting, and inventory analysis. The successful candidate will be responsible for month-end close and will have a significant contribution in our manufacturing cost accounting processes.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and maintain cost accounting data to ensure accuracy

• Conduct inventory accounting and analysis to optimize inventory levels and reduce costs

• Perform cost analysis to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements

• Execute month-end close procedures, ensuring deadlines are met and accurate financial reporting

• Assist in manufacturing cost accounting processes, contributing to overall operational efficiency

• Utilize accounting software systems for efficient data processing and record keeping

• Adhere to financial regulations and standards, including DCAA and Costpoint requirements

• Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve financial understanding
