We are offering an exciting opportunity in the Energy/Natural Resources industry, located in Houston, Texas. We're seeking a Gas Scheduler to join our team. In this role, you'll be working closely with various teams such as trading, marketing, and origination.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently process gas scheduling tasks, including pipeline nominations
• Utilize electronic bulletin boards for scheduling gas movements
• Monitor and communicate updates on pipeline operations
• Identify and resolve any discrepancies in volumes
• Monitor and communicate changes in producer supplies
• Manage imbalances in the pipeline and optimize pipeline capacities
• Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of nominations, confirmations, and scheduling of natural gas transactions
• Review and approve invoices for pipeline transportation and storage
• Act as a liaison with the settlements team for pipeline and storage invoice reconciliation
• Use your knowledge of the Gas Industry, Gas Pipelines, and Gas Turbines to effectively perform your role.• Must have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the Energy/Natural Resources industry
• In-depth knowledge of Gas Pipelines, Gas Turbines, and Terminals is required
• Must have experience in the Gas Industry, especially in Gas Scheduling
• Proficiency in managing Cash Activities is necessary
• Proficiency in dealing with Commodities in the Gas Industry is required
• Must have excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are a must
• Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
• Should have strong organizational and planning abilities
• Proficiency in using computer software related to the Gas Industry is desirable
• Must have a bachelor's degree in a related field, a master's degree would be a plus
• Professional certifications related to the Gas Industry would be an advantage
• Must have a strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures in the Gas Industry
• Ability to work in a team as well as independently
• Must have a strong commitment to ethical practices and compliance with laws and regulations related to the Gas Industry.
