We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pharmacist for a temporary position in Macon, GA. This role is ideal for professionals looking to work in a long-term care setting with evening/overnight hours.

Schedule: Evening/Overnight

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day pharmacy operations, including workflow management, production quotas, and meeting deadlines.
• Assist with the ordering, handling, receiving, documentation, and storage of controlled substances; maintain a perpetual inventory for scheduled drugs.
• Ensure pliance with local, state, and federal regulations governing pharmacy practice.
• Supervise pharmacy production staff, ensuring accurate order entry, workflow management, and adherence to delivery schedules.
• Prepare and/or supervise the preparation of sterile IV drug products or solutions.
• Verify pleteness and accuracy of new and refill labels and orders, including drug packaging and labeling.
• Ensure adherence to DEA policies and procedures and all applicable government regulations.

Ideal Candidate:

• Valid GA Pharmacist License
• Recent experience as a Pharmacist
