We are on the lookout for an IT Support Specialist to become part of our team. The role is based in Central New Jersey, and will involve both remote and on-site support. The position is focused on providing Level 2 technical support, handling various tasks independently and contributing to the effectiveness of the team.
Responsibilities:
• Provide Level 2 IT Support, responding to customer inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and offering solutions.
• Handle technical support tasks independently, demonstrating a self-sufficient and autonomous approach.
• Maintain a strong foundation in Windows Desktop and Microsoft 365 support, and provide basic server support.
• Utilize experience with ConnectWise Manage, ConnectWise Automate, and ConnectWise Control.
• Perform malware/virus and security troubleshooting, reinforcing the security of our systems.
• Engage in network installation and basic diagnostics.
• Demonstrate basic knowledge in Windows Server troubleshooting and repair.
• Show proficiency in various skills including Android Development, Cisco and Citrix Technologies, Database, EO/IR systems, Active Directory, Apple Devices, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, and Deployments.
• Provide both remote and on-site client support, including travel within 45 minutes of the main office.
• Exhibit strong customer service skills, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining relationships.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an IT Support Specialist role or similar
