IT Support Specialist

Job Description

This position will be a member of the IT Helpdesk Team.

Responsibilities are as follows, but not limited to:

• Configuration, installation and repair of computers and other electronic office equipment.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on user’s computers and devices.
• Troubleshoot Intermec and Zebra barcode label printers and handheld scanners.
• Troubleshoot networking issues related to switching, data cabling and wireless.
• Skill to Install and terminate horizontal and backbone network cabling per TIA/EIA-568 structured cabling standards.
• Educate users on procedures for resolving or preventing technical problems.
• General administration of Windows Servers including Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Develop and implement technical procedures to quickly address user’s problems and minimize downtime.
• Develop relationships with third-party vendors managing software and maintenance agreements and licensing.
• Quote network cabling installations and maintain network diagrams.
• Advanced EDI software technical support.
• Administration of Azure AD and Office 365.
• Help maintain cyber security standards and policies.

Specialized Skills will be Taught on the Job:

Radley iCARaS EDI system, VMware vSphere 7.0 .

• Candidate must have excellent communications skills; both written and verbal.
• Must be able to Work in a Team Environment as well as on their own.
• Time Management Skills are Essential with the Ability to meet deadlines
