We are looking for a Payroll & Benefits Specialist to join our client's team in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the payroll and benefits processes, working closely with managers, and maintaining accurate employee records in our Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the processing of regular and bonus payrolls for salaried and hourly employees, ensuring accurate deductions and withholdings.
• Collaborate with managers to ensure accurate and timely timesheet entries.
• Handle the reconciliation of general ledger payroll liability accounts and monthly insurance invoices.
• Develop a thorough understanding of the company's employee benefit plans and manage related tasks.
• Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, including data entry into the company's HRIS.
• Manage the termination process, ensuring all necessary steps are taken and records are updated in the HRIS.
• Handle employee data changes in the company's HRIS.
• Conduct regular, quarterly, and yearly reporting related to payroll and benefits.
• Manage the entry of employee sales into payroll.
• Ensure regular and predictable attendance is maintained.
Skills:
• Experience in Full Cycle Payroll
• Knowledge of Garnishments and Payroll - Garnishments
• Proficiency in Benefits Payroll and Benefits Administration
• Familiarity with HRIS - Human Resources Info Systems.
