Blazerjobs is currently seeking multiple Speech-Language Pathology Assistants to join a dynamic school district in Manassas, VA for the 2024-2025 school year. As an SLPA, you will work closely with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to provide direct support to students with communication disorders across a K-12 caseload.

Responsibilities:

• Implement individualized therapy plans under the supervision of licensed SLPs.
• Conduct speech and language assessments as directed by the SLP.
• Assist in the development of goals and treatment plans for students.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support student progress.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Speech Language Pathology, or related field preferred.
• Completion of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program.
• Previous experience working with children or adolescents preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
• Certification as an SLPA in the state of Virginia
