We are in search of a Credit Analyst to join our team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role is pivotal in the banking industry, focusing on the evaluation of financial data to determine credit ratings for new and existing customers. You will play a key role in our Commercial Lending Department, collaborating closely to manage and maximize cash flow and credit facilities. This job offers a permanent employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and interpret financial data to assess risk and assign appropriate credit ratings to new and existing customers
• Collaborate with the Commercial Lending Department to manage and maximize cash flow and credit facilities
• Prepare loan presentations for the Loan Committee for both existing customers and prospective new customers
• Create and maintain client files and proposals
• Provide technical and practical problem-solving support services to bank customers and staff
• Actively participate in credit and investment management to help achieve established Bank and branch goals
• Monitor and collect financial information from customers as required on an annual basis
• Prepare annual reviews on credits to ensure compliance with loan policy
• Update periodic reports on the bank’s credit portfolio
• Analyze economic and financial trends to provide excellent customer service.• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Minimum of five years of experience in Credit Analysis or a similar role
• Proficiency in credit and credit application processes
• Demonstrable skills in Cash Flow Analysis
• Familiarity with Banking Credit Analysis
• Experience in Commercial Lending
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• High ethical standards and professionalism, as these are mandatory in dealing with sensitive financial information.
