Seeking a Credit Analyst IV in Temple, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting efficient commercial credit analysis, encompassing new loan evaluations and ongoing monitoring of existing loans to ensure compliance with financial covenants. Additionally, the candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining a balanced risk/reward ratio within individual commercial credit exposures.

Qualifications:

·       Minimum of 3 years of Commercial Credit Experience

·       2 years of banking or similar experience

·       Strong organizational and analytical skills

·       Understanding of accounting terms and bank terminology

·       Ability to read and interpret financial statements including tax returns (individual and business), balance sheets, income statements, cash flow schedules, and statement of owner’s equity

·       Proficiency in lending concepts, practices, and procedures

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·       Strong presentation skills and ability to foster business relationships with both internal and external stakeholders

Responsibilities:

·       Collaborate closely with commercial bankers to assess potential loan opportunities

·       Assist in compiling necessary information and aid in structuring terms and covenants

·       Work alongside the Chief Credit Officer to ensure objectivity in the loan underwriting process, serving as a quality control checkpoint
