Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot, develop, and integrate control systems for the purpose of supporting manufacturing and assembly operations.
Description:

Comply with all company and departmental policies and procedures.
Troubleshoot issues involving controls programs.
Make program modifications as needed for efficient operation of plant machinery.
Control "PG" and laptop devices that are necessary for troubleshooting equipment.
Formulate action plans when needed to ensure that major issues are resolved.
Work in partnership with machine vendors, maintenance, and process engineers to develop effective automated. PLC control and drive systems to support the production requirement and goals. Make recommendations for improvements to systems as needed.
Point of escalation for supporting troubleshooting efforts.
Utilize controls system to improve machine uptime.
Establish protocols and be responsible for system access, backups, and data recovery.
Perform electrical troubleshooting / wiring tasks.
Set up and improve current controls system.
Perform robotics troubleshooting / adjustments.
Establish and maintain comprehensive inventory of all machine software packages within the area of responsibility. Ensure that software updates are obtained and installed as needed.
Partner with IT department to ensure line servers are maintained and updated as needed.
Maintain Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space Entry and all industry safety standards.
Ensure strict adherence to OSHA, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 9001 and all automotive industry standards.
Responsible for identifying Environmental Aspects for his/her department, and supporting Environmental Management Plan (EMP) goals and targets through training, engagement and communication.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee must comply with all safety regulations and proper operating procedures, utilizing required safety equipment and PPE at all times.
Education/Professional Requirements:
Two-year degree in Electrical Engineering with 4 years of related experience.
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with 2 years of related experiences.
Additional Qualification:
Ability to understand logic control and how to manipulate logic to repair problems.
Ability to apply statistical techniques and mathematical operations.
Proficiency in various controls communication protocols.
Proficiency with electrical concept.
