Title: Control Engineer/Project Technician
Location: Indianapolis, IN and Oklahoma City (Onsite)
Duration: 4 Months
Starting 7/15, Indianapolis,
Starting 7/29, Oklahoma City
Mandatory skills--
1. Experience with Conveyor Commissioning is must
2. Siemens PLC
3. Bachelor’s degree is not mandatory- technician will also do
4. Prior field experience is required
5. The person should be capable of trouble shooting termination problems and other errors – should be hands on
Work Experience
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Instrumentation and Control / Mechatronics / Electrical Engineering)
- Minimum criteria: 4+ years of experience in installation and commissioning of automation projects. Experience in Automated Material Handling Systems (Conveyors, ASRS, Lifts, Robots, Barcode Scanners, Barcode Print & Apply, etc.) will be preferred.
- Experience with PLC (Standard and Safety PLCs): programming, Installation, Commissioning and Hardware/Software troubleshooting Experience on Rockwell Automation and Siemens’ latest PLC / HMI platforms. Experience on industrial communication protocols preferably Ethernet IP, TCP/IP, Modbus TCP/IP, Profibus, Profinet.
- Exposure to Kepware and other OPC server preferred.
- Familiar with CAD to read drawings (Eplan, AutoCAD) and understand
- Good English verbal and written communication skill
