Position Summary
In conjunction with the VP of Communications and Marketing, the Marketing Manager is responsible for managing all marketing operations of the organization, including the development, planning, and execution of various marketing programs and advertising initiatives to support the organization's growth goals. The Marketing Manager interprets business objectives and develops successful marketing campaigns from idea to execution. They also ensure the organization's message is clearly defined and distributed across all channels and targeted audiences.
*Association and/or Credit Union experience preferred.
Position Description
Manages the objectives and efforts of the marketing department to align with the organization's goals.
Drive the organization's brand strategy, including assistance with possibly redefining and reimagining its current brand strategy to ensure that it is properly aligned with its strategic plan.
Administer the organization's digital marketing initiatives, including social media channels, internal websites, and email campaigns, to ensure brand consistency.
Work with the VP to develop and manage the departmental budget.
Create copy, source copy, and/or edit copy from other areas of the organization for marketing pieces, articles, and communications.
Manage marketing distribution channels, including website, email, social media, and print.
Design print ads, flyers, emails, and websites.
Maximize website performance, track keyword rankings, and implement SEO strategies.
Utilize marketing and communication platforms such as MailChimp and others to reach marketing goals.
Set and achieve strategic goals for social media metrics, advertising, and marketing campaign initiatives.
Understand and guide efforts in graphic design, including website creation and maintenance.
Manages external agencies to supply marketing and web services.
Support the advocacy, events, and solutions team in strategic initiatives.
Department Supervision:
Develop an evaluation system for the department and monitor improvement initiatives generated by evaluations.
Oversees the department's daily workflow.
Train, develop, and evaluate department staff in a manner necessary to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
Provide leadership, communication, and coaching to cultivate a motivated environment of trust, teamwork, accountability, self-confidence, and business ownership.
Other:
Keep abreast of emerging trends in marketing and communications to inform the growth and evolution of the League's programs and offerings.
Ensure alignment with League priorities and key initiatives.

Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Manages a small marketing team of designers and writers.
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field.
3 to 5+ years of proven experience in a marketing manager or similar role.
