Bar Manager Expectations:
Focused on performance, productivity, and teamwork for the entirety of the shift, start to finish
Is truly passionate about floor presence, engaging with guests, and excited about consistently exceeding their expectations.
recruit, hire, train, schedule, and supervise bar staff (bartenders, and barbacks)
Demonstrate exemplary leadership to lead and motivate the bar staff, fostering productivity and organization.
Knowledge of beverages on the menu, including characteristics of wine, liquor brands, beer, designated glassware, terminology, and garnishes.
Oversee, maintain and manage beverage quality
Maintain inventory, track customer behavior and sales, and monitor costs to ensure budget adherence.
Develop and maintain relationships with beverage suppliers and distributors to negotiate favorable pricing, source quality products, and stay informed about industry trends and new offerings.
Partner with other management to ensure a positive and collaborative environment when leading by example
Recognizes the significance of holding people accountable, while maintaining a constructive workplace atmosphere that fosters teamwork, transparent communication, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
