The candidate will train for two months during the day shift, 7:30 am to 4 pm and then work the night shift, 12 am to 8 am, Monday through Friday. The candidate will report directly to the firm’s Senior Management and will be responsible for the following as well as other duties as assigned:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assisting customers in a variety of issues.
- Risk management with futures and options trading, including executing trades.
- Executing orders for clients.
- Engaging with customers via phone, email, and chat.
- Assisting current customers on using our technology.
- Setting up customers with access to trading systems and troubleshooting trading software connection issues.
- Assisting with the firm's back office operations on an as-needed basis.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Commodities industry experience: 1 year minimum
- Knowledge of futures and options industry is a must
- Proficient in Outlook and Microsoft Office including Microsoft Excel
- Understanding of industry trading platforms and technology on the back end
- Strong communication skills and professional attitude
- Strong analytical skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner
- Ability to multitask and remain organized during busy periods
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Minimum of Associates degree in business related area
- Series 3 Registration is preferred
