As the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of our medical practice, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing the day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency, quality patient care, and strategic growth. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving the organization towards its goals while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance overall operational effectiveness.
Streamline and optimize administrative and clinical processes for improved workflow.
Oversee the management of facilities, ensuring a safe and conducive environment for patients and staff.
Collaborate with finance teams to develop and manage budgets, ensuring financial sustainability.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement financial controls.
Ensure the practice adheres to all relevant healthcare regulations and standards.
Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to enhance patient care.
Recruit, train, and supervise administrative and clinical staff.
Foster a positive and collaborative work culture that encourages professional growth.
Evaluate and implement innovative technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
Oversee the implementation of Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and other relevant software.
Work closely with the executive team to develop and execute strategic initiatives.
Identify opportunities for practice growth and expansion.
Ensure a patient-centered approach in all operational aspects to enhance the overall patient experience.
Implement and monitor patient satisfaction surveys and feedback mechanisms.
Manage relationships with vendors, contractors, and key stakeholders.
Negotiate contracts and agreements to optimize services and reduce costs.
Qualifications:
Masters in business administration
10 + yrs of experience as COO with other medical practices or hospital
Proven experience in a senior management role within a medical practice or healthcare organization.
In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance, and quality standards.
Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and financial management.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt to evolving healthcare trends and implement best practices.
Familiarity with healthcare technology, including EHR systems.
Able to grow the practice and experience in establishing ACOs
