Job DescriptionCompany Description
Seeking a Paralegal with experience in General Trial (Insurance Defense) to become a part of the Banker Lopez Gassler P.A. team. You will provide overall support to attorneys' business needs. In this role, you would be handling cases from start to finish. You will need to have experience billing your time, summarizing medical records, sending subpoenas and assisting with discovery. (Pay range will vary based on experience)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research to support legal proceedings
- Handle cases from start to finish.
- Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents
- Investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes
- Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Record and store client information
Qualifications:
- Insurance Defense Experience is a MUST (also must have Dictation Experience)
- College Degree or Paralegal Florida Certified (will accept new paralegals right out of graduating)
- Familiarity with legal research
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
