We are currently seeking multiple contracted paraprofessionals to join our team in Aurora. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with students, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other school staff.

Responsibilities:

• Assist students with academic and social-emotional needs
• Support classroom instruction and management
• Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) as directed by the teacher or special education team
• Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities as required
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and behavior

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree preferred)
• Previous experience working with students in an educational setting
• Ability to pass a background check and obtain any necessary clearances
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other school staff
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing situations

This is a contracted position with a competitive hourly rate ($20+). The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, with hours to be determined by the school's needs.
