Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team at Wishram, WA. This position involves working with students from Kindergarten to 12th grade in a self-contained classroom setting. The teacher will utilize IEP Online and will have para support in the classroom.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs.
• Provide differentiated instruction and support to meet the academic, social, and emotional goals of students.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including paraprofessionals, therapists, and parents, to support student progress.
• Conduct assessments, track student progress, and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and interventions.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and growth.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid Washington State teaching certification with Special Education endorsement (LBS1 credential).
• Experience working in a self-contained classroom setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of IEP development and implementation.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs.
