As an Buyer you will:
Schedule: M to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm
The ideal Buyer candidate will have:
Pay Rate: < 30.00-40.00/hr + >

As an Buyer you will:
- Work with Logistics Manager to execute delivery schedules on time
- Maintain and monitor supplier Quality and delivery metrics
- Participate in supplier surveys and assessments
- Responsible for reducing lead time.
- Responsible for cost reduction
- Work with Quality on corrective and preventive actions at suppliers
- Must be capable of handling all purchasing activities during absences
- Work with manufacturing to develop tooling suppliers for tool life and tool cost improvements.
- Negotiate with tooling suppliers lead time reduction by forecasting usage and carrying die blanks.
- Develop professional relationships with key suppliers
- Communicate Quality and delivery requirements and score cards to the suppliers
Schedule: M to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm
The ideal Buyer candidate will have:
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience as a buyer in Aerospace fasteners. Knowledge Aerospace standards for raw material and DFAR requirements.
- Proficient with MS Office, strong background in Excel and Access data base.
- Effective time management
- Critical thinking to identify alternate solutions to problems
- Strong ability to work under pressure
- Good organizational skills
- Good presentation skills
- Strong ability to work well with peers and managers
- Strong leadership skills
- Must be able to communicate at all levels
- Good intrapersonal skills
- Attention to detail to ensure correct type, quantity and prices are reflected on the P.O’s
