IMMEDIATE OPENING for experienced Sr Accounts Payable Specialist Trumbull, CT, client. Pay rate 30 hr.
Sr Accounts Payable Specialist responsibilities will include:
· Process and payment of invoices in fast paced, high volume environment
· Cod non-purchase order invoices and obtain proper approvals
· Processing payments for check runs – full process of match and attach
· Daily balance A/P transactions
· Research and investigate discrepancies, working inter-departmentally
· Monthly review and verify open receivers for items not related to inventory

Skill and Experience Requirements for the Sr Accounts Payable Specialist:
3+ yrs of AP processing exp required – manufacturing company dealing with 3 way matching, inventory and expense items
Associates degree in accounting or related field
Knowledge of genl acct practices and good understanding of accruals and prepaid accounts
MS Word, Excel and Outlook
Strong organization and problem-solving skills
Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable
· Team player, excellent communication skills – verbal and written
Knowledge of MS Word, Excel
Pay is 30 hr
