Lapeer Medical Facility is looking for a Medical Scribe to be an assistant to the physician, performing documentation of patient history ahead of patient visit. Pay is based on experience, range of $18-23 per hour.

Candidate would be responsible for charting physician encounters in real time.

Job Responsibilities:

Listens and accurately and documents interactions between physician and patient.

Inputs prescriptions , lab work, & referrals.

Documents procedures, injections , EKG results , LIH results as directed by the physician.

Assists with physician during surgical procedures.

Adheres to organizational policies with particular attention to standards of conduct and to confidentiality as relates to HIPPA.

Learns and remains knowledgeable regards to pharmaceuticals and medical terminology.

Required:

High School Diploma/ GED Certified

2 years medical scribe experience

Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
