What You'll Do:
- Set-up, adjust, and operate CNC Lathes to create parts that meet print specifications.
- Work with Fanuc and Haas controls.
- Understand fixture work coordinates and tool offsets.
- Machine a variety of parts using blueprints and pre-written CNC programs.
- Operate CNC Lathes daily with attention to detail and precision.
- Use tools like micrometers, depth micrometers, indicators, calipers, and thread gauges to ensure quality.
- Adjust vises or jaws as needed for set-up.
- Operate one or two machines on your own, with support from another operator when necessary.
- Help troubleshoot and solve machining issues.
- Inspect parts to ensure they meet the specifications.
- Recognize when tools need replacing and make adjustments.
- Assist in training new operators and contribute to the growth of our team.
