We are looking for a skilled Loan Processor to join our team in the banking industry, located in Framingham, Massachusetts. This role involves managing customer loan applications, maintaining accurate customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. Additionally, you will be tasked with monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer loan applications in a timely manner
• Maintain precise records of customer credit
• Provide support to Loan Officers as required
• Collect data from customers including assets, debts, employment details, etc.
• Evaluate credit histories for applications
• Research and rectify errors on applications
• Review files for necessary documentation and missing information
• Meet loan deadlines consistently
• Communicate effectively with customers about their loan needs
• Gather necessary information for the loan application process• Prior experience in the banking industry, particularly in loan processing or administration
• Proficient in loan administration software and other related technologies
• Strong understanding of banking regulations related to loans
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain complex financial terms in simple language
• Detail-oriented with high level of accuracy in processing loan applications
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
• Strong analytical skills to assess loan applications effectively
• Proven track record of maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions
• Solid understanding of financial statements and ability to perform financial calculations.
