Responsibilities:
Looking for an analytics manager with an interest for using data to build great platforms and products for our markets.
In this role, you will work with key vendors and stakeholders to support technical data setup, reporting, visualization, and analysis of multiplatform content and advertising data.
Determine data requirements from source to output to enable reporting for analytics
Work with external resources to ingest and automate data into various tools and data warehouses for analytics and reporting purposes
Transform large datasets using SQL to create high-quality sources for reporting and analysis
Own projects end-to-end, including scoping and planning into well-defined milestones
Maintain domo platform - SQL data and Adobe audits to build our visualizations and keep data management team up to par.
Type of data - content level, articles and videos are preforming, daily level of performance for digital platforms, 3rd party tools that look at how content is performing, exposed to sales tools and building out into data visualization tool, freewheel support to assist in analysis buildout.
Clean up and data management of all data before it goes to the data visualization tool
Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in digital data focused roles, e.g., data analytics or data engineering
Proficient/expert in SQL, Python, Snowflake/ data warehouse tools, Adobe analytics
QA experience
Digital experience
Experience with data visualization tools like Domo or BI tool experience (building out BI tools)
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint are required
Ability to convey complex data results in a simple and concise way
Self-starter, resourceful, flexible, proactive and a true team-player who is willing to pitch in wherever needed
Strong organization, planning and time management skills, with the ability to accurately handle multiple simultaneous activities on tight deadlines
Strong attention to detail
A deep understanding of analytics and use of tools such as Adobe Analytics and comScore
Experience with local news editorial and operations teams is a plus
Collaborative, ask questions, open to feedback and suggestions, work together, any ideas a good idea mentality
