Robert Half has an opening for an Accounting Manager/Supervisor with our client in Metairie, Louisiana. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of accounting functions, including managing accounting software systems and overseeing accounts payable and receivable. This role is particularly suited for individuals with strong auditing skills and experience working with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems. This is a short-term contract to full time employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the use and implementation of Accounting Software Systems.
• Manage financial services through ADP - Financial Services.
• Utilize BlackLine for accounting operations.
• Supervise the use of Concur for travel and expense management.
• Oversee the use of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for business process management.
• Manage and supervise comprehensive accounting functions.
• Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations.
• Conduct regular auditing to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Manage billing functions to ensure timely and accurate invoicing.
• Must hold a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role as Accounting Manager/Supervisor.
• Proficient in using Accounting Software Systems for financial management and reporting.
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required.
• Familiarity with BlackLine software for enhanced financial controls and automation.
• Proficiency in using Concur for travel and expense management.
• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for integrating and managing business processes.
• Must be able to manage all Accounting Functions effectively and efficiently.
• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is mandatory.
• Must have experience in Auditing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established accounting standards and regulations.
• Must be capable of managing Billing Functions, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.
• Must demonstrate effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Should possess excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Must be capable of multitasking and prioritizing tasks based on urgency and importance.
• Must exhibit a strong understanding of financial regulations and legislation.
• Should have a proactive approach to work, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must demonstrate ethical behavior and confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• Professional certification such as CPA or CMA is preferred.
• Must have the legal right to work in the hiring country.
