We are thrilled to announce an incredible opportunity for a Director of Information Security to join our client’s team! This role is pivotal in developing and supporting a robust security program to protect IT assets and reduce overall risk. As the Director, you will lead the charge in acquiring and managing essential resources, crafting security strategies, and implementing top-tier security policies and procedures. Your expertise will be crucial in aligning information security with the company’s overarching goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Direct and support the development of the client's security program.
Lead IT security teams with a focus on achieving IT security goals and reducing risks.
Develop and implement security strategies, policies, and procedures.
Ensure compliance with NIST, FISMA, FedRAMP, and other regulatory frameworks.
Oversee incident response plans and conduct regular security drills.

Education & Experience Required:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT security, or related field.
U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain DoD security clearance.
10+ years in cybersecurity and IT administration with 5+ years in management.
Strong familiarity with NIST 800 series, FedRAMP, and STIG configurations.
