As an SME Linux Administrator, you will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and optimizing our Linux servers and systems. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of our Linux-based solutions.  Located in San Diego, CA.

Salary- $120,000 yearly

Essential Duties & Job Functions:

• Configure, administer, and maintain SME servers and systems.
• Implement security measures to safeguard Linux-based assets and data.
• Collaborate with IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve system issues promptly.
• Perform routine system updates, patches, and upgrades.
• Monitor system performance and proactively adjust ensure optimal functionality.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation and standard operating procedures.
• Providing technical support and guidance to end-users and colleagues.
• Other duties as assigned.

Mandatory:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six (6) years of experience in SME Linux administration.
• Proficiency in configuring and managing SME servers and systems.
• Proven experience with shell scripting and automation.
• Must be able to successfully pass any employment background checks and/or drug testing required on the contract.
• DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II Baseline Certification.
• Linux+ or equivalent.
• An active Secret Clearance is required.
