Arizona Surgical Centers:

Surgery Scheduler schedules all surgical procedures and assures that all of the appropriate clinical and insurance coding information is collected for the surgery schedule. Scheduler schedules procedures according to established guidelines. Scheduler provides accurate information and maintains open communication with surgical facilities and physician regarding schedule changes.

Duties

1. Schedule surgeries for multiple physicians.
2. Answers the phones in a professional and courteous manner.
3. Co-ordinate preoperative clearances and evaluations.
4. Schedule peer-to-peer evaluations in real-time.
5. Complete daily surgical schedule and distributes as appropriate.
6. Assures appropriate coordination with facilities when special surgical needs occur.
7. Works with insurance companies to obtain prior authorizations for surgeries.
8. Supports front office as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
