We are looking for an outstanding Special Education Teacher for an awesome opportunity with an incredible school program in the Ashburn, VA area for the 2024-2025 School Year!

Some Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ abilities and create teaching plans
• Keep track of and reflect on students’ progress
• Watch children’s behavioral patterns and determine appropriate interventions
• Discover engaging activities to teach skills
• Manage classroom crises and resolve conflict
• Support other professionals who work with children with disabilities
• Work with the support staff (e.g. school counselors and speech therapists) to create proper intervention plans

Requirements:

• Active VA Special Education Certification
• At least one year of Special Education Teacher experience
